The University of Arts in Târgu Mureş organizes the eighth edition of the Studio International Festival - Meeting of Theater Schools. After 2 years in which the festival was held online or hybrid, it returns to the form that established it and for 8 days it will host live performances by students from 13 universities in Tarp and Europe.

Between November 20-28, 2022, there will be performances of the performances of the 13 theater universities in the country and in Europe, invited to this edition: the National University of Theater and Cinematographic Art "I.L. Caragiale" (Bucharest), - National Academy of Theater Arts from Krakow (Poland), University of Pitesti (Pitesti), University of Arts "George Enescu" (Iași), University of the West (Timișoara), University "Lucian Blaga" (Sibiu ), National University of Theatre, Film and Television "I. K. Karpenko-Kary" - Kiev (Ukraine), University of Arts in Belgrade (Serbia), FreeSZFE University (Budapest - Hungary), Performing Arts Studio Scotland in Edinburgh (Scotland), "Ovidius" University (Constanța), Academy of Arts the Athanor show (Passau - Germany) and the University of Arts in Târgu Mureș (Romania).

The performances took place at the Studio Theater and the Studio 2.1 Theater of the University of Arts in Târgu Mureș, at the Ariel Theater, at the Târgu Mureș National Theater and at 3gHUB.

Also, in the same period, there will be 20 workshops supported by personalities in the field, such as: Andreea Belu, Valentina de Piante, Luiza Zan, Ben Harrison, Magdalena Barille, Ivona Szabo, Szekely Csaba, Sarkadi Bencze, Kateryna Lukianenko, Lakatos Róbert , Philip Brehse, Marija Milenkovic, Wehrmann Jakob, Scott Johnston, Bogusława Sztencel, Laura Bilic, Dumitru Acriș, Marin Fagu, Laura and Adam Boboc, Adriana Teodorescu and Felix Moldovan.

In addition to performances and workshops, this year's edition of the International Studio Festival will also feature book launches by Alina Nelega, Ioan Ardelean, Cristian Stamatoiu, Ștefan Roman and Maia Morgenstern, reading performances, two exhibitions, concerts by Luiza Zan and Barbarossa Samba Group.

There are also 3 guest shows: the production of the Playwrights Theater "Nu sunt eu" with Maia Morgenstern, stage direction Victor Ioan Frunză, scenography Adriana Grant. A street theater show of the Theater on Wheels from Arad and the Integra production: "Angel Wings".
